Hello,
I’m actually the TD of a French National Tournament (The “FPT” 15 free satellites in 15 towns & the final game with 100 000 euros of pricepool).
During a 400 players satelite with 15 players left for only 14 places: one of my dealers made an error that could have killed a player a make the tournament finish so sadly:
An average stack goes all in … a big stack calls and shows JJ … the other player look for his cards and realise that the dealer killed them (the dealer aggree)! … the player says he had ATs and the dealer look in the muck and find it quite near the top … they call me … I decided my tournament could’nt finish that way … I accept to give back the ATs to that player but give him a warning … the board give an Ace & victory to the ATs who will later be part of the 14 winners !!!
Your opinion?
I just regret not to have given the choice to the other player (JJ): to play the hand (has I did) or to make it a tie!
No?

Hello,
Last week-end they where a dead stack at a table (missing player on day 2) … the dead stack was BB all-in with 100 … someone raised 300 preflop and nobody called … he won and took all the chips while the dealer reshuffle all the cards … before everybody realize that the dead player had the right to see the board and maybe to win the pot (because all-in!) … !!!
They called me …
I decided to ask the player to put back 200 in the middle … and to deal two hands with two boards to find a winner for thoses 200! (the player won again!).
Your opinion?
